The Salcombe Festival is taking place during the 12th -14th June 2009, when both locals and visitors will join together to celebrate our town.

The aim of this new website is to become an information point for everyone to have access to up to date information about the festival, facilities and businesses within the area. We will update this website with all the latest news of the events and entertainment that will be taking place during the festival. Also, we will provide you with other events throughout the year to help raise funds for the festival.

The Salcombe Festival is supported, managed and funded by the local community and depends on the contributions from organizations and individuals to allow the event to take place. The organising committee consists of local business people and members of the community who offer their services to ensure the festival take place each year.

This year the Salcombe Festival also hope to be able to support 3 charities with discretionary donations. These are Salcombe Swimming Pool Fund; Devon Air Ambulance; British Heart Foundation.

The sole aim of the committee members for the Salcombe Festival is to create a traditional summer weekend for all the family to enjoy and at the same time raise money for the charities above.
